Data Protection

Your trust is important to us. It is our aim that you feel comfortable on our website. The protection of your privacy and your personal rights are therefore important to us. Therefore we would like to ask you to read the following summary about the functionality of our website carefully. You can rely on a transparent and fair data processing and we strive for a careful and responsible handling of your data.

The following data protection information is intended to inform you how we use your personal data. We comply with the strict provisions of German data protection law and the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collection and storage

When you visit a website, data is automatically transmitted and logged (such as browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, IP address, date and time of access, content accessed and information transmitted during the connection) to maintain system security and for statistical purposes. These are not personal data, so that it is not possible for us to assign the data collected to a specific natural person. The collected and stored data is deleted regularly after statistical evaluation, after four weeks (log files) or after one week (IP address).
Personal data such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are only collected by us if and to the extent that you provide them to us with your knowledge, for example within the framework of a registration or as they are necessary for the performance of a contract. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time.
Your personal data will only be used for advertising purposes/market research if you have given us your express consent to do so.
If a contractual relationship between you and us is to be established, amended or structured in terms of content, we collect and use personal data from you insofar as this is necessary for these purposes.

Disclosure of your data

A passing on to third parties does not take place in principle, except they are needed for the completion of the business dealings. The data to be transmitted will be limited to the necessary minimum. Authorities or other state institutions are only provided with information within the scope of legal information obligations or on the basis of court decisions.

Dispatch of information on our products, events and other news

We use your data to send you ordered information about our products, events and other news from us to the e-mail address you provided. This will only be done with your consent or legal permission. Consent to dispatch is given on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a, Art. 7 GDPR and § 7 Para. 3 German UWG.

a) Newsletter subscription on our website
You can subscribe to a free newsletter on our website. When you register for the newsletter, the data from the input mask will be transmitted to us, i.e. at least your e-mail address.
The registration takes place by means of the so-called double opt-in procedure. After registration you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with external e-mail addresses. Your consent will be obtained for the processing of your data during the registration process and reference will be made to this data protection information.

b) Shipment due to the sale of goods and services
If you purchase goods or services, we may also send customer satisfaction surveys to your email address without your consent.

c) postal shipping
We can also use your data to send you information about events such as trade fair invitations by post.

We want you to enjoy reading our e-mails. That’s why we only try to include content that you’re probably interested in. We therefore measure and store opening and click rates in your user profile, i.e. if and when you open our e-mails, which contents of the e-mails you click on when and if and why our e-mails could possibly not be delivered. We also use this data for statistical purposes.

Of course, you can cancel the receipt of our information at any time, i.e. revoke your consent with effect for the future. You will find a corresponding unsubscribe link in every mail or newsletter and can confirm your unsubscription on our website. You can also contact us at any time to revoke your consent:

By E-Mail: info(at)gebhardt-automotive.de
By Post: GEBHARDT Automotive GmbH,  Neulandstr. 28 / 1,  74889 Sinsheim, Germany

Certain information messages, which are necessary for the contract execution and the function of our web page, for example to the service (e.g. registration confirmation) or to an order (e.g. order confirmation, contract documents, payment completion) cannot be canceled. These messages will be sent to the contact information provided by you.

Newsletter

To subscribe to our newsletter service, we need your e-mail address and confirmation that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and the recipient of the newsletter. Further data will not be collected.
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for newsletters. This means that we will only send you a newsletter if you confirm your registration after having received your e-mail address via an e-mail sent by us and a link contained therein. You can revoke your subscription to the newsletter and the associated consent to the storage of your e-mail at any time. To do this, you can either send us an e-mail or request cancellation via a link at the end of the newsletter.

Communication by E-Mail

Should you wish to contact us by e-mail, we would like to point out that the content of unencrypted e-mails can be viewed by third parties. We therefore recommend that confidential information be sent only in encrypted form or by post.

Cookies, Web Analytics Services and Social Media

“This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above”.

Your IP address will also be anonymized by us and is therefore no longer traceable. By modifying the Google Analytics Code your IP address will be shortened by the last octet. This means that neither usage profiles can be created and enriched with further data, nor can the shortening of the IP be traced back to your name or address.

If you do not want your data to be recorded by Google Analytics, you have the option to download an opt-out browser add-on at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Use of Google-Adwords

We use the Google advertising tool “Google-Adwords” to advertise our website. As part of this, we use the “Conversion Tracking” analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google” on our website. If you have reached our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie is stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer.
These so-called “conversion cookies” lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve your personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not expired yet, we and Google can recognize that you as a user have clicked on one of our ads placed with Google and have been forwarded to our page.

The information collected using “conversion cookies” is used by Google to compile visit statistics for our website. These statistics tell us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and also which pages of our website were subsequently visited by the respective user. However, we or others who advertise through Google Adwords do not receive any personally identifiable information.

You can prevent the installation of the “Conversion-Cookies” by a corresponding setting of your browser, e.g. by a browser setting which generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or specifically blocks only the cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.

You can obtain the relevant data protection declaration from Google at the following address: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html.

For more information about data processing by Google, please refer to Google’s privacy policy. https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection centre.

Google Web Fonts

This page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This will enable Google to know that your IP address has been used to access our website. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. of GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
